I attended undergraduate school with Aaron, both of us earning our graphic design degrees. By the end of our senior year, we'd both deviated from design–me with photography and he with architecture. After graduation, he headed up the hill to U of A to attend the E. Fay Jones school of architecture and we kept up here and there via social media.

Randomly on an Autumn evening, he popped up online and asked me if I wanted to come to Europe to take photos –we'd had this joking conversation a few times since he'd gone over there for school, but this time it was different. He wanted to propose to his girlfriend Kendra and wanted me to be there to document it. Stoked for him and honored, I had to regretfully decline because of commitments here but I had my fingers crossed that I'd be the one to document their wedding day.

Nearly a year later, they were married in Thorncrown Chapel in Eureka Springs–a natural fit considering his profession–and I was the one to document it.
